Who We Are
Sue Bonde has been working in fashion for more than 35 years, holding numerous positions in management and fashion design. She currently resides as Fashion Show Director of the Art Institute of Portland. She’s also the Co-Owner and Head Designer of a costume design company, and has worked on many high profile projects, such as The Lion King on Broadway and Disney’s Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey. Bonde has also work on projects for Paramount Pictures, Universal Pictures, Warner Brothers, and was awarded Best Costume Design for her work on multiple products at Portland Theaters.
Krystal Gaynor ~ Vice President
Krystal Gaynor is an apparel industry professional currently working in Marketplace Merchandising at Nike. Her diverse background includes over 10 years of experience both in retail and at wholesale outlets, including her time in Los Angeles at Rock & Republic as Import Production Coordinator, and as Operations Manager at Mercantile Portland. Krystal received degrees in Merchandise Management from FIDM and Business Marketing from Portland State. She prioritizes involvement in the local fashion community, from attending events to working as an Executive Advisor for P:FINE fashion networking group.
Caroline Lewis is an IT and Management Consultant. She helps her clients manage large-scale business strategy development and implementation. Caroline received her MBA from Portland State University and a B.S. in Psychology from Davidson College. She brings a business mindset and project management to fashion.
Marjorie Skinner is currently working as a freelance writer/editor, stylist, and producer. Formerly Managing Editor of the Portland Mercury, she spent 15 years covering Portland fashion, founding the weekly Sold Out column and producing 11 years of the fashion show series Open Season. Marjorie has also contributed to fashion events such as Content at the Ace Hotel and the Portland Art Museum's Italian Style. Through her current work with apparel companies from Portland and beyond, and from emerging to international, Marjorie continues to be a strong connector in the industry and a huge supporter of local fashion.
